Synopsis
Advertisements in rectangular metal frame structures on lantern posts are part of Vilnius’ public space. Martin Ebner and Kitty Kraus took photographs of the views, taking in account the passer-bys perspective, or focussing on neglected details like plants or trees.

Later, in co-operation with Vilnius’ main advertisment agency they replaced the original advertisments with these snap shots of the situation, creating either a surprising see-through trompe l’oeil effect for eventual passengers or highlighting and enlarging a humble detail in the immediate surrounding of the poster.
